A Medical Officer is available round-the-clock for any emergency.

In cases of such medical emergency, at the first instance, the Resident will be shifted to the Medical block for immediate medical care and attention. The shifting will be done by a car / an ambulance / a wheel chair / a stretcher accordingly.

The medical block is facilitated with an emergency / a special ward to take care of such patients.

Consultation With Specialists

If need arises, the Resident will be referred to a specialist or an outside hospital by the Medical Officer.

In such situations, the services by the attendants of the Residency will be made available on payment.

Tests and Diagnosis

The tests for blood, sputum, urine and motion will be carried out by collecting samples. For certain specified tests, the patient will be moved to Diagnosis Centers as per the advice of the Medical Officer.

Ambulance Service

24-hour ambulance facility is available in the Residency to shift the critically ill patients to the nearest multi-specialty hospital, for further treatment and follow up thereon.

Physiotherapy

There is a separate physiotherapy section in the Medical Block under the care of a qualified Physiotherapist. Based on the advice of the Medical Officer, the Residents can opt for physiotherapy treatment. The payment for the same will be based on the number of sittings and as per the prescribed tariff for different treatments.

Outside Hospitalization

According to the necessity and as per the advice of the Medical Officer, a Resident may be shifted to a hospital for further treatment. In such cases, the patient will be shifted either by a car or an ambulance depending upon the health condition. An attendant will be available round-the-clock for assistance.

Pharmacy and Supply of Medicines

A registered pharmacy is available within the Residency in the Medical block, for the convenience of the Residents.

The pharmacy will supply medicine only based on the prescription of a Doctor.

Visitors - Medical Block

Visitors / Guests of patients in the Medical block can visit after obtaining permission from the Admin. Office and the Reception inside the Medical block.

The other Residents in the units can visit the Dhanvantri Block (Medical Block) only during visiting hours i.e. between 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m., after signing the Visitors’ book available in the Reception.
